Zoe Saldaña has starred in some of the most successful film franchises from Avatar: The Way of Water to Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 3, she is killing it! The actress is set to star in the new series Series Special Ops: Lioness alongside Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman, and Netflix’s Locke and Key actress Laysla De Oliveira.
When she was asked by Vanity Fair what drew her to the project Saldaña answered, “When you get a call from someone like Taylor Sheridan…. You work really hard, expecting those calls. And when you get those calls, you don’t believe them.” In every female role that Zoe has played, she has shown young girls and women that they can be the heroes of their own stories; strong, vulnerable, smart, and beautiful.
